In response to nationwide Level 3 COVID-19 alert, Hsu tries to build an intimate moment with the audience by utilizing the real-time video meeting to create this one to one participatory performance. Incorporating Barry Room in Taipei Artist Village into the narrative, Beyond the Window presents a live one-shot scene with soundtrack made with the conversation between the audience and the artist. It highlights the connection between personal history of individuals and the circumstances that we share with each other, and raises the awareness of cultural diversity and inclusivity.
